I can be your dream come true
I can make your pain disappear
Make light your newest friend
I can help cure your ills
Dry your tears
Hold you through the night
I can breathe life into your lungs
Make the air around you fresh and new
Make your life worthwhile
I can be your worst nightmare come to life
I can make your heart shatter
Make the darkness a home
I can make your sickness consume you
Make your eyes never run dry
Turn the knife into a best friend
I can suffocate you
Make everything you touch burn
Make your breath seem wasted on dry flesh
I can do all this
And
So can you

“I Do”
She looks down the aisle,
Her eyes filled with joy.
Her father takes her hand,
And smiles through his tears.
They come to the altar,
He gives his daughter away.
The music starts,
And the words begin.
His eyes are pools of water,
Telling of his love.
He speaks soft words,
And whispers sweet nothings.
She in turn,
Speaks of her heart.
She gives all her words,
With the voice of an angel.
The priest then asks,
One final question to each.
“Do you take him?”
“I do,” she replies.
“Do you take her?”
“I do,” he replies.
The liquid gold is placed
Their hearts are entwined.
So they walk out,
With the words,
Whispered in the wind,
I do.....
